FTX

Today our AG-BOLC returned from a 3-day FTX where we stayed in a FOB to conduct PASR as BN S1s working alongside WOs, NCOs, and PVTs.  CPX at the SSI in the previous week prepared us well, giving us exposure to DCIPS and DTAS, notwithstanding the fact that most of us in USAR and ARNG would like training in non-AC systems.  Most of it was BS, if you ask me, since we couldn't bring our POVs and I found myself asking WTF.  I’ll probably say as much during the AAR.
