April was a vision of light, and she looked so
good in her pastel dress. Honestly, I
felt as though I were walking through a dark winter’s night alone, cold and
blind, until she danced across the floor right in front of me, a flash of warmth, beauty in motion, seemingly
turning the muck and mire into soft green grass the moment she touched
down. Though she didn’t tarry long, I
could see the glimmer in her big eyes; I only wish I could have had more time, and a bold spirit, to lose myself in
that glistening sea. She took flowers from her wood basket and disseminated them far and wide. Her trail was bestrewn with the tulips,
daffodils, and lust for life that her generous spirit left behind. Once she vanished into a rain-soaked sunny
day, I realized how much my life depended on her.
